Mosasaur (extinct marine reptile) tooth
A tooth from a mosasaur, a marine reptile that lived from around 145 - 66 million years ago in the Cretaceous period. This fossil is from Morocco and still has good edges to it!
There were many different species of mosasaur around the world, ranging from about 3 - 50 feet in length. Their teeth, plus preserved stomach contents, indicate that they were top predators.
