A small display of six genuine fossil Devonian crinoid, or sea
lily, discs from Alpena, Michigan. In life the discs
were stacked to make the stalk of the crinoid, and the centre back specimen is a short length of stem.
Each species had a different design of disc, and I've chosen a variety for this display.
The display is in 1:12 scale, measuring 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) long by 9/16 inch
(1.4 cm) deep by just over 1/8 inch (0.3 cm) high.

This is an orthoceras fossil from Morocco. It has a natural faintly
polished, almost marble-like finish. Orthoceras are extinct members of the cephalopod mollusc
family, somewhat related to the modern nautilus. This would look wonderful in a study, on a desk or bookshelf, or as a conversation piece.
The display is in 1:12 scale, measuring 5/8 inch (1.6 cm) long by 7/16 inch
(1.1 cm) deep by 3/8 inch (0.9 cm) high.

This is a genuine tiny fossil display in 1:12 scale. It is a piece of matrix (rock) absolutely full of
the fossilized remains of sea creatures from the Devonian period, 417-354 million years ago. This specimen has a myriad of fossil pieces
including a clear crinoid disk on the front left, bryozoan at the top centre, and a shell fragment at the back.
This would look wonderful in a study, on a desk or bookshelf, or as a conversation piece.
The display is in 1:12 scale, measuring 7/8 inch (2.2 cm) long by 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) deep by 3/8 inch (0.9 cm) high.
